Send Us A Box-Sized Question.
We answer every inbound inside one business day, Monday through Friday. Forms beat phone tag — it's why we don't have a phone number. The yard runs better when the dispatchers can actually see the dispatch board.
Rockford, IL 61109
Walk-ins welcome during business hours. Park anywhere along the south fence and head to bay door 3.
One inbox, two yard managers checking it. Replies typically within four hours during the workday.
One form. Every service.
Why no phone?
We tried it for two years. The phone always interrupted the yard. Dispatchers wrote down orders, then read them back wrong. Customers got transferred. Voicemails got missed. So we turned the phone off and built the inbox. Quotes are faster. Orders are more accurate. And the yard hears nothing but forklifts. We don't plan to go back.
How to find the yard.
From I-39/I-90 South (coming from Janesville WI)
Exit at US-20 East toward Belvidere. Turn south on Bell School Road, then west on Falcon Road. We're about 1.4 miles in, on the south side of Falcon. The yard sign is at the bay doors.
From I-39 North (coming from Bloomington / LaSalle)
Exit at US-20 West. Continue 2.3 miles to Bell School Road. South on Bell School, then west on Falcon. Look for our forklift loading signs.
From downtown Rockford
South on Alpine Road, east on US-20, south on Bell School, west on Falcon. About 18 minutes from downtown.
Parking
Visitors park anywhere along the south fence line. Bay doors are numbered 1 through 8; the office and reception are at bay 3. The unmarked door next to bay 3 is the breakroom — don't walk in there, the coffee is for the crew.
If you're a driver
All inbound trailers back into bay 4 or bay 5. Donna will radio you in. Wait at the security gate if you arrive outside business hours; we don't have anyone on the yard after 5 PM.
The neighborhood
Falcon Road runs through the industrial belt of south Rockford. Our nearest neighbors are an auto-parts warehouse, a precision-machining shop, and a small fabricator. Across the street is the family-owned diner where Donna eats lunch on Thursdays.
What to expect
